Do you want to feel inspired? Do you want to be the master of your own evolution?
I wanted to share with you the deck of inspiration cards I have created. The best way to introduce you is just to share my experience of how I use the cards. There is no right or wrong way!! You do You!
I have my morning tea, I relax and take some time to breathe, relax my shoulders, soften my jaw……and shuffle the cards.
I pull a card and then think about what there brought up in me once I really read the words. I take in all the images in the painting that appear to my eye. Everything appears differently to us because we all have has different experiences in this life that affects how we view and perceive as well as create everything around us.
This is the card I pulled today: “Fitting together happens spontaneously from our willingness to allow things not to have to fit together”
The timing couldn’t be better for this one! WOW.
The quote hit me, and the top of my head blew open, connecting me to myself. I needed to hear this, for sure! I love how we always pick the card that we need to see, and the message we need to read in that moment, knowing every moment is a new one.
The painting’s intensity was exactly how I feel, SO intense, as it explodes with all the vibrancy of the power of allowing.
I have been writing in my morning pages about how I need to let my children go (who, by the way, are all full-grown, independent adults). I need to cut the ties of socially conditioned responsibility that I hold for their actions and outcomes. I will trust and allow them to move forward in their lives on their own journey.
My conditioned response is to try to influence their life lessons for their best possible outcome, but then I realize…I am actually either delaying or robbing them of their real lessons and CHOOSING to create stress for myself.
Oftentimes we have to learn the lessons in the most uncomfortable way so that they can be felt in the body and integrated into the future version of our ourSelves (yes capital S). Then we can move through the world with more ease.
So this is how I take a deeper dive and allow myself to stop, breathe, reflect and expand in my own evolution as the person I am here to become.
Take a moment, look at the painting, what comes up for you? What images seem to appear, what thoughts arise?
